Last month, there was a teaser/puzzle about a planned event by the Mozilla Toronto Community. And after the big reveal, we saw that it was Dev Derby. (Yey!)
The community is planning on holding the Dev Derby some time in October (second or third week most likely) and the wheels are starting to grind to make this a reality.
Thanks to some support from the Mozilla staff in the Toronto office, a few details are being ironed out to use the community space in the Mozilla office in Adelaide Street in downtown. I’m keeping my fingers crossed so that there will be a positive response soon.
As for the Dev Derby itself, the topic is CSS Media Queries. Last year, it was already a challenge, and its getting featured again. The technology us pretty interesting and I’m sure Toronto folks would be able to come up with something clever.
Now, if we could only confirm who would be a good expert on this…
