The Flicks Premiere Party, the culminating event of the Firefox Flicks short film competition, happened in Toronto last September 12 and it was a very timely one: the event’s buzz coincided with the city’s excitement over the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The winners of the competition were announced and the list is a great diverse mix of animation, comedy, and heart-warming short films.

Grand Prize

The Toronto community attended the event and also helped out in the various Firefox Flicks event screenings during the TIFF.
Over-all, the Firefox Flicks was a huge lightning rod for the Toronto community and a display of a non-technical aspect where Mozillians can make a difference for the Open Web.
